My mom had her surgery today, and it sounds like everything went very well. She should go home on Thursday!
From one to the next...we finally have some answers about why my 2-1/2 year-old nephew has been so sick with a blood infection, ear infections and a couple bouts of pneumonia in his short life. He has been diagnosed with x-linked agammaglobulinemia, a rare blood disorder in which the body does nto produce b-cells, the ones needed to produce antibodies. At this point, it means he will have to have plasma transfusions for the rest of his life every 3-4 weeks. Can we include him in our prayer requests for a while?
